This week's Star of the Week is Raleigh Walking Tours' # 1 Super Fan, Lisa!
I will never forget the day that I met Lisa! She and her fab photographer husband Larry came on my Original Murals and Public Art tour on April 3, 2021.
It is SO hard for me to believe that I haven't even known Lisa for a full year yet, because it feels like we are very old friends who have known each other for decades!
Lisa and Larry apparently liked the art tour so much that they started to come on all of my public tours. Larry would take awesome pictures and post them to Raleigh Walking Tours' Facebook page after each event. And Lisa would post to Instagram. It means so much to a small business owner like me to have such supportive customers who are willing to spread the word about my tours!
But not only did Lisa come on all of my tours, she brought friends along as well! Sometimes quite a lot of them!
As a result of this enthusiastic support, it did not take long at all for Lisa to earn the title of Raleigh Walking Tours' # 1 Super Fan! I had never had a super fan before, and hadn't even considered the possibility that I might have one, but once Lisa appeared on the scene, it was quite clear that the title belonged to her and her alone!!!
She even booked a private tour for her birthday, and 25 people attended! It was an amazing time!!! (See a picture from that tour below, on the top left.) And then she booked another private tour right before Halloween last year! (Pictured on the bottom right.)
Lisa is SUCH an amazing person! Her enthusiasm is contagious!!! And she is the ONLY person I have ever met who loves using exclamation points as much as I do!!!!!!!! I'm not sure she has any idea how much I appreciate that! 😁❗🥰❕ Oh, and we also share a love of emojis!!! 😍😁🥰🤩
Lisa is so thoughtful and supportive. For the Halloween tour, she gave out goodie bags to everyone, and I even got a few extra special treats, which was awesome!
And she also makes friends everywhere she goes! She has lived in the Raleigh area for only a few years, and she has infinitely more friends than I do!
Lisa is just one of those amazing people who lifts your spirits whenever you are around her. You can't help but smile when you spend time with her! And that, dear readers, is absolutely priceless!
Lisa will forever be Raleigh Walking Tours' # 1 Super Fan! And I will always be grateful that she came into my life!!
